I’m trying to write some code that needs openssl or equivalent for crypto-related functionality such as:
- encryption and signing
- performing certificate based authentication
- creation of new SSL certificates
There are also openssl-like libraries specifically for embedded systems: http://www.oryx-embedded.com/cyclone_ssl.html
As well as general purpose alternatives to openssl, like google’s boringssl: https://boringssl.googlesource.com/boringssl/
My questions are:
- has anyone tried to get an openssl library working on a particle board?
- if not, and I wanted to do so myself, are there any barriers to getting a large complex library built and working with the particle boards?
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks a ton for your help!
