# Monitor One via BACnet?

So I have a Monitor One, and I'm new to learning it. I am aware that it primarily uses RS485 for data transfer. Is there anyway that it can be configured to accept BACnet inputs? Anyways, thanks!

I am not aware of any implementation of BACnet for the Monitor One (or any Particle device).

There are two considerations: implementation of the link layer (Ethernet, multi-drop serial, Zigbee, etc.) and the BACnet protocol on top of it.

You could, in theory, use an embedded library and port it to Particle.

Can you run a search on bacnet arduino, or bacnet embedded?
