Just to get you an update. I never ended up getting this resolved (even in 0.4.9). Instead I just listen for wifi credentials to be set and then reset the device via firmware. It’s not an ideal solution because my application has a display that the user can see during this…but it’s the only way to shut down the SoftAP after receiving the credentials.
