# IFTTT Status check on Argon

I was trying out the IFTTT recipe to monitor the device status of an Argon. So 2 applets, one to send an email when offline and a 2nd to send an email if online. Next I unplugged my Argon for about 10sec and plugged it back in. I ended up getting 19 emails, all for the ‘online’ state, all sent at the same time (or same minute). Why?

Hi @Fragma,

I’d like to check the logs for this to see what we can see. Would you mind PM`ing me the device id of your device that generated those online events, and can you tell me when it happened (time / date)?

Any update? Had an Argon go crazy last night and generate ~100 ‘online’ events in a 30min period. From roughly 12:56am 4/2 PT to 1:25am.

Hi @Fragma,

I know the team is working on improving the online/offline indicators, hopefully there will be an update on this sometime soon! Sorry I don’t have more specifics yet.
