My firmware got corrupted and I can even go to DFU state as well . How can I slove this problem like the final option i had is either return it or use st-link which is very expensive as university student i can't afford it .?Please Help ?
Is the status LED completely off, or does it go into another state and you cannot get it into blinking yellow? Can you get it into any other combination?
Which device? Only Gen 2 (Photon, Electron, P1, E-Series) can be programmed with a ST/LINK v2.
Yes the LED is completely turn off it's can't go to any other state . Like I am using Photon 2 . Also D7 LED is turn on continuously.
First try holding down the MODE button as you plug in USB power to make sure the device is not immediately going into sleep mode.
If that does not work, it's almost certainly a hardware failure unless you have already been using a SWD/JTAG programmer because the Photon 2 rarely loses its bootloader.
