Existing Customer (email) run create customer command again

What is happening when I run the POST command multiple times for a customer with the same email address?
Does this unclaimed devices already claimed by the customer?

Create a customer returns an error if the customer email already. The previously existing customer is left unmodified.

Thanks @rickkas7 I’ll verify later today against a customer that has a device claimed.

Not sure if this is by design but the create customer command executed successfully multiple times for an existing customer(email) if the password matches.
