Are there any plans to support the latest Duo firmware beyond the current 0.3.1 that is available? From what I can see the Particle alternative (Argon) does not currently support BLE modes for general scanning / connecitng etc. Not a limitation of the nordic hardware, but rather I think that the product is geared more toward mesh.
"currently" is the keyword here. Support for bluetooth will be added later on, after initial launch.
As noted in some other thread while there currently are no high level APIs implemented for BLE support you should be able to use the nRF low level functions already.
