# Boron SIM and data access

Hello,

I’m trying to figure out if I can use my own SIM and cell data provider with the new Boron module. I see in the specs that it has onboard sim MFF2.

With the SIM slot/holder you should be able to use 3rd party SIMs - that’s the plan.
