B404X Certification for Australia

earlier in the year @rickkas indicated that the B404X’s would be certified in additional countries, and that Australia was one likely choice. Is there any update on certification of B404X in Australia?

The LTE Cat M1 expansion has not yet moved forward, but is still a possibility for the future.

There are two issues for Australia and New Zealand:

  • Certification
  • The AU/NZ bands that are not used in North America are disabled by default by Device OS.
