Are there synopses of the contributed libraries?
From the IDE, all we see are 3 word titles, truncated, and often with unfamiliar acronyms and product part numbers.
Sorely need each library to have a synopsis…
If the contributor cared to do it there is the option to add a short description (e.g. look at my recently published ITEADLIB_Nextion lib) that’s shown underneath the title once you select the lib.
And for more info there should be a readme.md in the GitHub repo to which you find a link behind the GitHub icon next to the lib title.

libraries are sure difficult to deal with having no synopses
